CentraleSupélec's Summer Camp project wins an award in the #Ingénieuses2022 competition
Project CentraleSupélec Summer Camp has just received the special jury prize of the Ingenious 2022 competition organized by the Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools (CEDFI).
Created in 2011, this operation aims to combat gender stereotypes, promote gender equality in schools and the workplace, and encourage young girls to pursue scientific and technological training and engineering careers. It takes the form of a national communications campaign and a competition culminating in an awards ceremony.
This year, the CentraleSupélec Summer Camp welcomes 150 high school students from all over France for its second edition, who will be accommodated from July 2 to 17 on the Paris-Saclay campus (around 50 last year).
Objective: to introduce them to science in order to encourage them to train in these fields, particularly young girls, who are currently too few in number in scientific training.
