  • CentraleSupélec and ParisTech Chemistry - PSL are joining forces and opening a double degree starting in September 2025 in order to meet the skills needs expressed by industrialists in the sector and the aspirations of students interested in this double training.

CentraleSupélec thus offers a double degree in an engineering discipline for which it did not yet have a dual-degree program. Chimie ParisTech-PSL offers its students with applied training the opportunity to broaden their multidisciplinary skills and complement their systems engineering skills with project management.

Through these two general engineering degrees, this dual-degree course aims to provide students with dual skills, on the one hand in one of the eight specialization areas of CentraleSupélec at the end of the course, such as artificial intelligence, digital transition, cybersecurity, energy transition, etc., and on the other hand in one of the specializations of Chimie ParisTech-PSL covering, for example, biotechnologies, formulation, materials, chemical processes, the environment, etc.

This dual skill set represents a significant advantage for future engineers graduating from CentraleSupélec and Chimie ParisTech-PSL, enabling them to work within engineering or research teams in fields covering, for example, health, energy, the environment and mobility.

6 places are open for the next academic year 2025-2026 (3 for CentraleSupélec students and 3 for Chimie ParisTech – PSL students). On the CentraleSupelec side, this
The double diploma is accessible to students who have completed their first year in one of the two schools and who have previously followed a CPGE in the BCPST and PC streams. The two schools establish
together the list of eligible candidates with regard to their motivation, their academic results and their professional project. The final selection is made on the validation of the prerequisites
scientists necessary for their entry into the program and their ability to carry out upgrades for continued success.

Students on the general engineering course at CentraleSupélec (recruited via the CPGE PC and BCPST streams) will follow two years of training at Chimie ParisTech-PSL after their first year,
before returning to CentraleSupélec in the 3rd year.

The selected Chimie ParisTech-PSL students will join CentraleSupélec after validating their first two years of training, for two years: the first year adapted from
engineering course, then the 3rd year of the engineering course.
