Digital Systems Engineer
A standard high level at the heart of digital technologies, from signal processing to embedded artificial intelligence.

Proposed on the Rennes campus, the Digital Systems engineering training at CentraleSupélec trains engineers capable of designing, developing and implementing innovative solutions integrating communicating systems, embedded systems and data science.
The course is based on a multidisciplinary approach: signal processing, artificial intelligence, digital electronics, wireless communication, optimization, etc. It is based on a strong grounding in current and future industrial realities, with both theoretical and applied teaching.
Become a Digital Systems Engineer
The course trains engineers capable of combining in-depth scientific and technical expertise with a comprehensive understanding of the issues related to their field.
Students learn to use modern technical tools to analyze complex problems, design innovative systems and propose robust solutions, in a multidisciplinary approach.
They also develop their skills in communication, teamwork and independent learning, in order to be able to respond to the new challenges of complex and interconnected digital systems.
Program
A 3-year course
The training is spread over six semesters, with academic semesters combined with professional internships. Those in spring (S6, S8, S10) include a period of in-company training (internship). In the third year, students can choose to complete the alternating training, which allows them to work in a company while continuing their studies.
The lessons are divided into 4 areas:
- Humanities, Business and Professionalization
- Information processing
- Communicating systems
- Digital electronics
weeks of internship
minimum weeks of international experience
present in 80 countries
compulsory modern languages
