Campus Presentation

The Paris-Saclay campus, located south of Paris on the Moulon plateau, in the commune of Gif-sur-Yvette, is one of the largest centers of higher education and research in Europe. 
Accessible in 45 minutes by public transport from the center of Paris, it brings together prestigious institutions and companies, thus offering a cutting-edge environment.

The Paris-Saclay campus of CentraleSupélec is made up of 3 buildings: 

Le Eiffel building which notably houses the university restaurant, the Michelin amphitheater, the classrooms and conference rooms, the language center, etc.

Le Bouygues building, which houses the Museum (the student bar-café), the sports halls, the fablab, the Rousseau theater, etc.

Le Breguet building, which is currently being renovated.

This modern campus is designed to foster innovation and collaboration between students, researchers, and businesses. With state-of-the-art infrastructure, research laboratories advanced, and an extensive network of industrial partners, the campus offers countless opportunities to develop academically and professionally.

Housing

On the campus
La Césal residence mainly welcomes bachelor's students and engineering students in 1re and 2e years. The residence has six buildings offering different types of accommodation, from single rooms to shared accommodation.

The CROUS Georges Sand and Eileen Grey residences accommodate some of the school's students. Places in these residences are allocated as a priority to students on scholarships or those experiencing financial difficulties. 

In Paris
The residences MINA  et MIAA, within the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, also welcomes students from the school.

EATING OUT

The CentraleSupélec campus in Paris-Saclay offers several dining options for students, faculty, and staff to meet all tastes and dietary needs.

University Restaurants (RU)

The campus has a university restaurant managed by the CROUS located in the center of the Eiffel building, where you can enjoy balanced meals at affordable prices. These restaurants offer a variety of menus, including hot dishes, salads, and desserts, tailored to the student budget. The menus are diverse and include vegetarian options.

The RU also has a cafeteria that offers a wide range of sandwiches, salads, snacks, and hot or cold drinks. 

"The Museum" (bar cafe)

Located in the Bouygues building, the Museum is the school's bar and café. It offers homemade pizzas, burgers, wraps, pasta boxes, sandwiches, and more.

Food trucks

The campus regularly hosts food trucks offering a variety of cuisine, from gourmet burgers to international specialties.

In addition to on-campus dining options, students and staff can also enjoy a variety of restaurants and cafes located near campus.

Health: an integrated and local service

Since 2024, CentraleSupélec's healthcare service has been shared with that of Paris-Saclay University. This service provides you with access to on-site medical support, right in the heart of the campus.

Preventive medecine
The Student Health Service also organizes medical visits or health screenings for students. These consultations allow us to monitor your health and detect potential problems. 

Prevention consultations are organized throughout the year. They are mandatory for:

  • Non-European international students
  • Students with disabilities

Students also have the opportunity to obtain contraception consultations and preventive gynecological monitoring, nutritional advice and smoking cessation.

Paramedical services
The School also offers physiotherapy, sophrology (in groups or individually) and osteopathy.

A pharmacy is also within walking distance of the campus.

A complete and stimulating living environment

The campus boasts a particularly rich environment, designed to foster the growth of all. On-site, students have access to numerous sports facilities as well as cultural amenities such as a 250-seat theater that hosts both scientific and student events and six music rooms.

In the immediate vicinity, a variety of shops and services complete this offer, making daily life easier for students and staff (supermarket, ATM, bookstore, bakery, etc.).

Sports infrastructure

The Paris-Saclay campus has numerous sports facilities, offering a wide range of more than twenty sports.

Outdoor installations: tennis courts, beach volleyball court, running track, basketball court, ...

Indoor installations: climbing walls, multipurpose gymnasium, weight room, dojo, multipurpose room (dance, fencing, climbing)

At the Saclay Plateau, facilities complete this system: swimming pool, multi-sport university complex.

The Île-de-France region has a network of public transport (Bus, Metro, RER, Tramway) among the densest in the world, facilitating travel throughout the region, including Paris and its surrounding areas.

Where possible, CentraleSupélec recommends the use of public transport.
