Centrale schools, shared values

Created in December 1990, the Groupe des Écoles Centrale brings together engineering schools that share an educational model centered on high-level scientific training, a strong international outlook, and a close link with the socio-economic world.

In France, the 5 Central Schools (CentraleSupélec, Central Lyon, Nantes power station, Central Lille, Central Mediterranean) share the same vision of training very high-level general engineers.

The Central Schools Group also carries a internationalization strategy strong. This ambition is embodied in the creation of several schools abroad, built on the educational model of the French schools in the network:

Beijing Power Station : Founded in partnership with Beihang University in 2005, it welcomes Chinese students following a bilingual course leading to a double Chinese and French engineering degree.

Central School of Engineering Mahindra University : Established in India in 2014, this school is the result of a collaboration with Mahindra University, adopting the educational model of the French Écoles Centrale.

Casablanca power station : Opened in 2015, it is the first general engineering school in Morocco and on the African continent, awarding a Moroccan and French state diploma.

Their objective is to train general engineers and doctors with a multidisciplinary approach, capable of providing innovative responses to the major challenges of our society.

These establishments help promote the vision of the Centrale engineer throughout the world and strengthen academic, scientific and cultural exchanges.
