  • At the High-Level University and Scientific Meetings (RUSH), organized as part of the Franco-Indian Year of Innovation, CentraleSupélec marked a new step in strengthening its presence in India. This event, organized by the French Embassy in India, was held in the presence of the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, and Clara Chappaz, Ambassador for Digital Affairs and Artificial Intelligence, highlighting the strategic importance of academic and scientific cooperation between France and India.

In this context, Romain Soubeyran, Director General of CentraleSupélec, traveled to New Delhi for President Emmanuel Macron's state visit and the "AI Impact" summit. This trip confirms CentraleSupélec's position on the international stage as a world-class engineering school, a member of the Université Paris-Saclay, and is part of an ambitious internationalization strategy: by 2032, the proportion of international or dual-national graduates will reach 40%.

During the RUSH, several structuring agreements were signed with the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani), as well as research agreements within the framework of the University of Paris-Saclay.

This momentum is embodied in particular by the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and AI, launched in September 2025 with BITS Pilani. This four-year program trains talented individuals capable of thriving in strategic technology sectors with a strong international focus. On February 18, 2026, the School met with the first students of this program in India, a symbol of an academic collaboration that is now fully operational.

On February 19th, at the "AI Impact" summit, CentraleSupélec announced the signing of two major Memoranda of Understanding to strengthen the industrial ties of its Bachelor's program. The first, a two-year agreement, was concluded with Orange Business India, which will leverage its local presence and expertise in networks, cloud computing, data, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. A second, two-year agreement was signed with Safran Electronics & Defense India to support the training of talent in strategic sectors such as aerospace and defense electronics, space, and telecommunications.

These partnerships offer students privileged access to industrial groups recognized worldwide for the quality and strength of their technological innovation. They reflect CentraleSupélec's commitment to enriching its international collaborations with leading French companies and to consolidating an educational model based on project-based learning and student employability.

To train top-level engineers, within an academic and industrial environment of excellence, supported by leading engineering research and closely connected to industrial and socio-economic dynamics, in France as well as internationally: this is the ambition of CentraleSupélec, strongly affirmed through the strengthening of its links with India.
