  • As part of the tripartite agreement between the University of Nairobi, CentraleSupélec – Paris Saclay University and the ParisTech Group, a delegation of 19 people was received at the beginning of May, for a focus on the “Research and Innovation” pillar.

On this occasion, the guests received a presentation on corporate relations, the 21st program, and were able to discover the FabLab. Bernard Yannou, head of the Prematuration Unit and Deputy Director, in charge of promoting research projects at the Research Department, spoke about the challenges of technology transfer and innovation, in connection with the work carried out by the Research Department. The delegation also visited Station F, before continuing their visit in thematic subgroups. One group visited the Rennes campus while others remained on the Paris-Saclay campus to visit the GeePs and L2S laboratories as well as the LURPA (University Research Laboratory in Automated Production) at ENS Paris-Saclay.

This visit, accompanied by Marc Zolver, International Expert at Expertise France, is part of the partnership initiated in 2022 and opens up concrete prospects for collaboration, particularly on joint theses and student exchanges around cybersecurity, energy management and Data/AI.
