CentraleSupélec hosts the BRAFITEC 2025 forum
From June 11 to 13, CentraleSupélec brought together 120 Brazilian and French institutions for the Brafitec forum, a key program for student mobility and Franco-Brazilian scientific cooperation.

CentraleSupélec hosted the BRAFITEC forum from June 11 to 13, 2025 ((BRAsil France Engineers TEChnology) in coordination with the Polytechnic Institute of Paris. This is a bilateral cooperation program between French schools and Brazilian universities supporting mobility of engineering students on study trips, exchanges or double degrees, and on internships. This program is co-financed by the Brazilian Ministry of National Education (MEC) and the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and Higher Education and Research (MESR) with the support of the Coordination of Higher Level Personal Performance (CAPES) and the Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools (CDEFI).
This year, we count the presence of 60 Brazilian universities and 75 French schoolsThrough workshops, debates and round tables, it is an opportunity to take stock of the actions developed over the past year, to exchange directly on educational and administrative issues as well as on opportunities for joint research. It also allows for discussions and proposals for developments in the program. Finally, it is a good time to prepare new cooperation projects.
Brazil occupies a strategic position in CentraleSupélec's international cooperation, with a strong student presence and numerous academic partnerships. More broadly, the ties between the two countries are strong:
- Brazil is France's leading scientific partner in Latin America
- France is Brazil's main university partner in Europe
