Desk Raises €1 Million: Julian Domercq and Pierre-Louis Schnitzler Accelerate Their Global Ambitions
Founded in 2021 by two engineers, Julian Domercq (ECP2019) and Pierre-Louis Schnitzler (ECP2018), who graduated from École Centrale Paris, the Montpellier-based startup Desk has announced it has raised €1 million.
A technological solution for coworking
Desk develops an all-in-one software for shared workspace managers.
The platform allows, in particular:
- Managing reservations and payments,
- Electronic invoicing,
- The automation of administrative tasks through artificial intelligence,
- Access control (connected doors and locks),
- Event organization,
- Analysis of occupancy and income data.
In one year, the company has experienced rapid commercial development and now equips more than 200 coworking spaces, in metropolitan France and overseas.
For Pierre-Louis Schnitzler
“The idea is for Desk to become the entry and exit point for data in shared spaces, capable of interacting with AI agents, humans, and third-party programming interfaces,” explains Pierre-Louis Schnitzler. The goal is to “simplify the booking process as much as possible for the end customer and, for the manager, to eliminate time-consuming tasks so they can focus on their core business: engaging their community.”
A strategic fundraising round
This first round of fundraising was carried out, among others, with business angels from CentraleSupélec.
The funds will support the international development of the software, increase the number of equipped spaces to 1,000 and strengthen artificial intelligence functionalities to support their commercial development.
As Julian Domercq, CEO of Desk, points out:
We are shifting into high gear. Commercial real estate is undergoing a major transformation, and our objective is clear: to make Desk the leading operating system for coworking spaces, in France and internationally.
The entrepreneurial spirit of the alumni
This success illustrates the commitment and entrepreneurial boldness of CentraleSupélec graduates: the ability to anticipate the transformations of a sector, to structure a complete technological solution and to mobilize an ecosystem of investors.
