  • The rail sector is evolving to meet the challenges of climate change and growing mobility needs. Manufacturers, infrastructure managers, and design firms are seeking qualified engineers to modernize the network, integrate technological innovations, and improve infrastructure resilience.

Supported by public policies and European initiatives, rail plays a key role in the energy transition and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Faced with these challenges, CentraleSupélec | Université Paris-Saclay offers the Specialized Master® in Resilient, Sustainable and Digitalized Railway Infrastructures (IFRDD). This training provides engineers with the new skills required in various fields to meet the challenges facing railway infrastructure: sustainable development, civil/mechanical/electrical/IT engineering, telecoms, systems engineering, AI, cybersecurity, etc.

Possible career opportunities include: project engineer on large-scale operations, study engineer, works engineer, maintenance engineer (definition of policies and coordination of operations), railway operations engineer (design of timetables, supervision, regulation), research and innovation engineer, etc.

    Why join this program?

    • A multidisciplinary approach: civil engineering, systems engineering, AI, cybersecurity and railway maintenance
    • A response to the challenges of energy transition and sustainable mobility
    • Varied opportunities: project engineer, works engineer, maintenance engineer, etc.
    • A network of experts and companies committed to the future of rail

      Applications are open.
