  • In March-April 2025, a group of students from the BTS Audiovisual from the Metz Communication High School produced a report on the various sites of the Optical Materials, Photonics and Systems Laboratory (LMOPS).

This laboratory brings together the research teams of theUniversity of Lorraine and CentraleSupélec, on the Metz, Saint-Avold and Thionville sites. It brings together nearly 30 teacher-researchers and around fifteen doctoral students, divided into several teams according to 3 research axes. It was created in 2000 from the Laboratory of Optical Materials with Specific Properties, a laboratory of the University of Metz, during the association of its second supervisory body at the time, Supélec. It hosts the Photonics Chair, unique in its kind and created in 2017, within its eponymous team. The laboratory is part of the M4 Scientific Pole of'University of Lorraine : Matter, Materials, Metallurgy and Mechanics.

Following a screening held at the end of June in the campus amphitheater, the film is finally available to everyone. Thanks to the Lycée de la Communication for this experience, and congratulations to the students for their involvement, as well as to the laboratory's speakers.
