Health at CentraleSupélec

Physical, mental, and social health are essential components of academic success. At CentraleSupélec, a range of services is in place to support you throughout your studies, addressing your medical, psychological, and wellness needs.

Whether for a consultation, psychological monitoring, a rapid teleconsultation or preventive support, you have access to a diverse range of care.
The School relies on strong partnerships with local universities – Université Paris-Saclay, Université de Rennes and Université de Lorraine – to guarantee you quality support on each of the three campuses.

Each site offers facilities adapted to your environment, to allow you to carry out your studies in the best possible health conditions, in complete confidentiality, and at no additional cost.

Paris-Saclay Campus

Since 2024, CentraleSupélec's healthcare service has been shared with that of Paris-Saclay University. This service provides you with access to on-site medical support, right in the heart of the campus.

Infirmary

Nursing care, vaccinations, stitch removals, etc.

Preventive medecine
The Student Health Service also organizes medical visits or health screenings for students. These consultations allow us to monitor your health and detect potential problems. 

Prevention consultations are organized throughout the year. They are mandatory for:

  • Non-European international students
  • Students with disabilities

Students also have the opportunity to obtain contraception consultations and preventive gynecological monitoring, nutritional advice and smoking cessation.

Paramedical services
The School also offers physiotherapy, sophrology (in groups or individually) and osteopathy.

A pharmacy is also within walking distance of the campus.

Metz Campus

Students can contact the Student Health Service (SSE) at the University of Lorraine, which offers free and confidential consultations:

  • Medical and gynecological visits
  • Nursing home
  • Aide psychologique
  • Social support
  • Support for students with disabilities
  • Vaccination Update
  • Screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • Nutritional advice
  • Addiction counseling

Appointments are being made online.

Personalized medical consultations walk-in services are also provided unscheduled immediate care from the “Robert Schuman” and “Belle Isle” hospitals in Metz.

Students can also benefit from psychological support via a local system for rapid and efficient support, thanks to a partnership with the Pierre Janet Center at the University of Lorraine.
The confidentiality of appointments is ensured by the provision of anonymous consultation vouchers issued by the campus Women/Men Equality Officer or through the BDE.
Comprehensive monitoring adapted to the severity of each case, with the possibility of implementing specialized therapies such as EMDR or therapeutic hypnosis, provided by qualified professionals.

Pharmacies
Pharmacies are within walking distance of the campus.

Rennes Campus

Students benefit from free health services (Student Health Service-SSE) provided by the University of Rennes.

The services offered are:

  • Reception in the infirmary without appointment
  • Health check-up for all foreign students from outside the EU during their first year in France
  • Medical advice on requests for study and examination adjustments by disabled students
  • Interview with psychologists
  • Sophrology consultations/ relaxation and dietetics

In addition, students can request medical consultations in General Medicine, including the issuance of medical certificates, vaccinations, etc., in gynecology and tobaccology.
