Applied research serving major technological and societal challenges

The CentraleSupélec Research Center's mission is to contribute effectively, through the advancement of knowledge, to the development of innovative responses to major technological and societal challenges. Covering all areas of Engineering and Systems Sciences, it implements multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with French and international academic partners and in close interaction with companies in major economic sectors.

Cutting-edge laboratories and teams

Bringing together 1200 research staff, including more than 550 doctoral students, the CentraleSupélec research center is made up of 18 laboratories and research teams, a mathematics federation, 3 joint laboratories et 15 chairs spread over 4 sites: Paris-Saclay, Metz, Rennes and Pomacle.

The laboratories' varied themes cover many disciplines taught at the School; they evolve to support the needs of the educational project and meet the expectations of the technical and economic environment.

The research units cover seven major scientific fields, in which they advance scientific knowledge, while gaining visibility and international influence:
