Mention Photonics and nano-systems engineering

This specialization trains engineers for the paradigm shift that accompanies information processing, and more specifically the calculation, storage, and communication of information. The limitations of physics associated with the miniaturization of electronic components and the limitations of our energy resources lead us to design and develop innovative information processing solutions that exploit, in particular, optical technologies (photonics), the functionalization of materials at the nanometric scale, and the properties of quantum physics. This specialization combines a physical approach and a systems approach for the development of both hardware and software innovations.
