  • Entalpic: Artificial Intelligence for Discovering New Materials

Entalpic operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence and physical simulations to accelerate the discovery of materials and contribute to the development of more efficient industrial technologies.

Founded in Paris in 2024 by Mathieu Galtier, Victor Schmidt, and Alexandre Duval, the startup aims, in particular, to help improve semiconductor-related technologies. Alexandre Duval is a graduate of CentraleSupélec, where he earned a Master of Science in artificial intelligence and went on to complete a Ph.D. in Graph Machine Learning in 2024.

The announcement of an investment from NVIDIA marks a new milestone for the company. This support is expected to strengthen its work on the design of precursors for atomic layer deposition, a technique used in semiconductor manufacturing.

Entalpic joined the 21st by CentraleSupélec accelerator in 2025.

Goodweek: Facilitating AI Adoption in SMEs

Founded in September 2025 by Guillaume Nominé and Nicolas Stehlé, a 2000 graduate of CentraleSupélec, Goodweek is developing an artificial intelligence governance platform designed for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Its AI Manager centralizes multiple AI models within a secure environment. The goal is to enable employees to use these tools while giving executives greater visibility into access, data, usage, and costs.

The startup has announced a $12 million seed funding round led by Adara Ventures, with participation from several investors, including CentraleSupélec Venture and Bpifrance. This funding is intended to support its commercial development and international expansion.

Supported by 21st by CentraleSupélec and based at STATION F, Goodweek also receives financial backing from CentraleSupélec Venture, the investment fund of the school’s alumni ecosystem.

CarbonFarm: Accelerating the Decarbonization of Rice Farming

Founded in 2022 by Vassily Carantino and James Hastwell, CarbonFarm develops solutions to support the transition to lower-emission rice farming practices. The startup combines artificial intelligence, satellite imagery, and field data collection to assess agricultural practices and quantify emissions at the plot level.

Its approach aims, in particular, to facilitate the development, certification, and financing of decarbonization projects by working with local stakeholders in the agricultural sector.

CarbonFarm has announced a €7 million Series A funding round led by Colam Impact, with participation from several investors, including Proparco and Bpifrance. This funding is intended to support the enhancement of its technology and its international expansion.

The startup received support from 21st by CentraleSupélec in 2023.

An ecosystem to foster entrepreneurial projects

Although their fields of activity differ, CarbonFarm, Entalpic, and Goodweek share the same ambition: to develop technologies capable of addressing concrete challenges, whether related to climate transition, industrial innovation, or digital transformation.

Their journeys also illustrate several aspects of the support offered by 21st by CentraleSupélec: strategic guidance for founders, connections to the School’s research laboratories, and access to STATION F, at the heart of an international entrepreneurial community.

Funding is another key driver of growth. With CentraleSupélec Venture’s participation in Goodweek’s funding round, the alumni ecosystem also contributes to financing startups emerging from this entrepreneurial momentum.

    Turning Scientific Expertise into Innovations

These three trajectories illustrate the diversity of projects led by entrepreneurs connected to CentraleSupélec and supported by the School’s ecosystem. They highlight the ability to harness scientific and technological expertise, build companies, and secure the resources needed to scale up.

They also underscore the role of the School’s ecosystem: to build bridges between education, research, entrepreneurship, professional networks, and funding, in order to support the development of innovative projects.
