CentraleSupélec is a public institution with a scientific, cultural, and professional focus, established as a “grand établissement” within the meaning of Article L. 717-1 of the Education Code.

CentraleSupélec is under the joint supervision of the Minister of Industry and the Minister of Higher Education, who exercise, with respect to the school, the powers granted to the rector of an academic region and chancellor of universities by the Education Code and the regulations adopted to implement it.

The School is administered by a Board of Directors and led by a director, who is assisted by an executive committee, a management committee, a scientific council, and an academic council.

  • The Board of Directors consists of 33 members and sets the institution’s policy.
